4-16-20 THOUGHTS

I find it important as I sit in isolation to think of myself in terms of THE CHURCH!  It’s vital that there is more than me!  It is essential that it is NOT ABOUT ME!
1Cor 2:2  For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified.
Gal 2:20  "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the [life] which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

I have a sign behind me that says “Find something you’d die for.. And LIVE FOR IT!”
1Cor 6:20   For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.
[The price of our Redemption is the subject...]  1Pet 1:19  But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20  Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21  Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. 22  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Several passages from a study on “ONE ANOTHER” follow.
John 13:35  By this shall all [men] know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Rom 12:1-2    Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Rom 12:5  so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.
Rom 12:10-13    [Be] devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor; 11  not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12  rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, 13  contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.

My Prayer:
Oh Father God, accept our praise as we seek your being and marvel at what we know of your nature.   Thank you for the salvation that is in Christ Jesus. Thank you for the way you have combined the souls of your saved.  Thank you that we are part of the blood bought Church. Today, help us to consider each other in thought and prayer.  Grow each of us dear God just a little!                  In the precious name of our Lord Jesus           Amen
